Attorneys Jerry Evans and Gordon Rhea were highlighted for their work representing refinery workers as plaintiffs in toxic tort exposure lawsuits brought against Hess Oil Virgin Islands Corporation and Hess Corporation. The plaintiffs alleged that prolonged exposure to catalyst dust generated during the oil-refining process caused them harm. The confidential settlement was reached after three weeks of trial.
